Sioux Lookout Hydro Inc. Donation Policy
- All requests must be in writing, using the “Donation Application Form”. No phone requests will be accepted.
- Requests must describe what the requesting organization is about. If the requestor is a registered charity proof must be provided.
An internal committee will review the requests on a monthly basis and submit recommendations to the Sioux Lookout Hydro Board of Directors using the following criteria:
- Does the request provide community support or a benefit to the Municipality of Sioux Lookout?
- Is there a cost/benefit or payback that can be measured?
- Is there a need?
- Is this a unique or special achievement/circumstance?
- Is this a duplicate or request similar to other requests?
- Will compliance with the request enhance the image of Sioux Lookout Hydro or its employees?
- Is this a benefit locally or will dollars be used elsewhere?
- $500.00 maximum per request.
- Yearly budget of $2500.00 in cash or labour.
