Sioux Lookout Hydro Inc. is a local distribution company which distributes electricity to the homes and businesses in the municipality of Sioux Lookout, & Hudson Ontario.

Sioux Lookout Hydro provides customer service, meter reads, billing question enquiries, and maintenance of the power lines within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Sioux Lookout.

Sioux Lookout is located halfway between Thunder Bay and Winnipeg, north of the
Trans-Canada Highway, and provides services to over 5,300 people.

Sioux Lookout Hydro was established in 1940 and changed from a Hydro Electric Commission to an Incorporated Company in January 2000.

Sioux Lookout Hydro Inc. is a municipally owned corporation, governed by a Board of Directors, whose sole shareholder is the Municipality of Sioux Lookout and is regulated
by the Ontario Energy Board.
